Hurricane Katrina did not stop us from marching in 2006. Our float was featured on the Today show . We loved the crowd of amazing locals and visitors that cheered us on and will soon post photos to update our website! LEE

The Krewe of Comatose is off to a great start! The wedding cake has been installed and the details of the "flame" at the top of the cake have been implemented. Our majestic figures are erect and intertwined on the float, awaiting embellishment.
The next meeting will be Sun., Dec. 12, 1:oo p.m. at the Den of Muses. We shall construct the skirt for our float which will consist of lots of pink polyester and white netting. The main focus will be production of our wedding cake hats and we shall begin to dress the attendents. Debbie Moran has designed an excellent wedding cake hat that will visually unify our krewe.
We have many great new members and have reached our quota of 30 members. We hope that our gay Kings will be UNFORGETTABLE! Come see us on Architect St. if you want to have a Comatose experience.

The Krewe of Comatose announces its 2005 parade theme as "Rex and Zulu Get Married". Present members should pay dues as early as possible, as we are at zero population growth, and those that pay are assured an opportunity to join in the revelry and march with us.
